New memories… children order traditional breakfast, with masala tea. The tea reminds me of mum cooking tea for hours to make it thick and rich, the whole house use to smell the aroma of all the spices … I think the young generation are taking a liking to it as it’s become trendy to go and have a traditional breakfast

Chops was the first dish I learnt as teenager and use to so it for EId. I used to marinate with tandoori masala and a bit of home spices. Now time have changed so masala has changed too going with modern days

Sunday family barbecue, our barbecue at is a little different. We use lots of spices to give it flavour. In Bangladesh I don’t recall having barbecue however they use to cook outside on open fire.. it was traditional to cook once a year and its call toffa tuffi…
